It is the mission of the Pennies for Heroes Foundation to find and identify those individuals who have demonstrated through selfless service that they are heroes to their individual communities and have, in so doing, had life altering hardship or tragedy befall them. Upon identifying these heroes, Pennies for Heroes will then attempt to provide a higher quality of life and added measure of satisfaction to them by assisting them in financial and service oriented means.
Pennies for Heroes is dedicated to providing help to the families of our fallen military men and women, fallen law enforcement and fallen fire fighters who have died or sustained serious injury while doing their duty to protect America.

The families of our military men and women are often times left without enough compensation to live a productive life. Whether they come home scarred from battlefields abroad, or draped in an American flag, they are not compensated sufficiently. Click here to see compensation amounts.
Families of law enforcement officers and fire fighters, who fight the war on our streets, struggle to make ends meet after their loved one is killed or injured. In the United States alone, hundreds of fire fighters and police officers are killed in action every year, leaving behind suffering loved ones.

At Pennies for Heroes we wish we could help all of them, but we seek those extra difficult circumstances where heartache and tragedy are of the most severe and the families left behind are in the most need. These families who have sacrificed everything, deserve a little sacrifice from each of us.
Our current family in need, the family of Officer Franco Aguilar, can be found by clicking here or by clicking on the “Hero” page to the left.
